Director of Sales (US)

We are seeking an energetic, motivated Director of Sales for the United States market.

Utilizing advanced technology alongside custom Scandinavian design, Naava smart green walls enhance natural forms of air purification, while seamlessly integrating nature into new and existing indoor spaces. With our rapid growth trajectory and recent entry into the United States, Naava is seeking an energetic, motivated Director of Sales for the United States market.

Reporting directly to the CEO of Naava, the Director of Sales (US) will be expected to lead the current US sales team, focusing efforts on the greater New York city area while assessing partnership and expansion opportunities throughout the United States. The Director of Sales (US) is expected to bring experience and leadership to Naava, develop client relationships and focus on developing sales channel partners for Naava products and services.

The Director of Sales (US) must have the ability to think creatively, work well within a team and be results oriented. As a startup company, no task is mundane, thus we seek employees who can take on any task, while being ready and able to assist team members at a moment’s notice. At Naava, we seek a Director of Sales (US) who aligns with our mission of enriching human lives within the built environment.

Main responsibilities

  • United States sales and partnership responsibility
  • Recruitment, coaching and management duties to build a high performing sales team
  • Contributing to regional expansion projects and development initiatives
  • Sales administration and development
  • Work with marketing teams and R&D teams to tailor client outreach and develop relevant data based on consumer feedback.
  • Helping to build Naava as one of the Best Places to Work in the United States

Expectations

  • At least 5 years of experience in Sales Management role in a relevant field, preferably focused on health and wellness and sustainability industries or the Architecture and Design industry
  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree / equivalent in a relevant field in social sciences (BBA, BSc. Economics etc.)
  • Experience in B2B sales. Experience in selling to real estate owners, working with human resources departments and working with architects and designers is an advantage
  • Experience managing at least $10 million in sales is an advantage
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Result oriented and driven individual with proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals set by an organization
  • Energetic and dynamic person with strong networks in the New York tri-state area
  • Strong understanding of the sales funnel principle and capability to develop sales process based on data and KPIs
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • A personable, quick learner who can easily translate complex scientific information into a sales pitch
  • A passionate team builder and motivated individual who is also empathetic to the needs of people within and outside of the organization.
